Machine startup died unexpectedly?

Post by Zeratul »

Hi,

I'm running my VMs in /etc/rc.local like this:

PATH=$PATH:/usr/share/virtualbox/bin
VBoxHeadless -s vmname &
...

After mainframe boot they are up & running. Problem occured when I ran VirtualBox & and created new machine, actually that went alright, but when I tried to start it som general error popped out telling me the machine died unexpectedly. I got the point and I've shut down all headless machines and rerun VirtualBox &. The machine could be run now and the headless machines were able to start as well.

Has anyone noticed this behaviour before? Not that I need to create machines every day but would be fine to be able to do it without shutting down other VMs.

Regards,
