don't run virtualbox 3.0

Hello / im download virtualbox 3.0 from official site . .deb packet for ubuntu 8.04 and castum install . After installation, it does not start
im startin from terminal . please help me for this problem

Can you provide us with the steps you went through to do the install?

• Did you uninstall first?
• Did you change any settings?
• Do you see or get any error messages?

Also please provide the log file just after the failed try . Be sure to use code blocks or send it as an attachment.
