I have downloaded and built VirtualBox OSE 3.0 in Windows XP. The build was fine... no problems reported. However, when I try to start VirtualBox (any of the VirtualBox Exe's) I get an error message: "The ordinal 73 could not be located in the dynamic link library zlib1.dll".
I copied the zlib1.dll from the \tools\win.x86\bin directory, so I figure I have the correct version. Does anyone have a clue what's wrong here?

Sorry, I can't answer to your question ; however before to build this version I'd like to know if it contains the VBoxNetFlt driver that allows to bridge interfaces directly (without adding manually a bridge and using a TAP interface). Could you check it ? It wasn't present for the Windows versions since 2.0 version.
