Thanks for your PM. I am a community member and not a Sun employee.

I had a look at the Youtube video, and yes, when it shows the console, it is too like VBox for this not to be some sort of clone. The OSE software is made freely available under a GPL 2 licence. Anyone can use this to build and sell their own product variant. The issue is whether their doing so is in breach of the GPL licence and what Sun's legal recourse is in the country of the product sellers (in this case Jordan, I believe).

As to why anyone would want to pay $50 for a potentially pirate and less supported version of a free product -- well you can always find people to fool on the Internet.

There is an FLOSS tweak of the OSE build that is USB only, but AFAIK they need to base this on a V1.6 build as a lot of the 2.x features rely on the new device drivers and privileged mode stuff that you cannot run without installing or administration privileges. They've probably picked this up.
