Hi VBox team and users,
I'm using Fedora 10 & 11 as hosts, with VBox-2.2.2_OSE and PUEL, when I define in the guest (winXP or Win7rc) the IP of the DNS nameserver to be 10.0.0.3 (one above the default gateway) The guest and the VirtualBox terminate immediately.
I know I should turn on the Proxy DNS server somehow (I'll be happy to see examples, for different cards types), but it should not terminates/crash the guest and the VirtualBox client application.
Thank you for your help

Re: VBox-2.2.2_OSE - DNS crash
That DNS address should be 10.0.2.3.
Some say: "You learn as long as you live".
My way: "You live as long as you learn".
My way: "You live as long as you learn".

Out of curiosity, what does the VBox log, Windows logs, Fedora syslog say when you get this crash? Might help to figure out what is going on.
