As USB ports and devices are so popular, is there a plan to provide USB support in the OSE version, if so, when?

I suspect that the USB code contains components that can't be released under GPL 2. It doesn't seem to be a high priority for the VBox dev team as the PEUL and Enterprise users are happy. What this really needs is a community developer to contribute an open source implementation.
