I've searched and haven't found this addressed anywhere. Can I move VM's created under VB OSE 2.04 on Ubuntu 8.10 AMD64 to run under VB 2.1 closed source version as they are. I assume this is a one way migration since I am thinking of doing this to be able use USB ports

- Guest OSses: Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux
- Location: /dev/random
That should be no problem. Make sure that you set the same settings as you had in the OSE. Also copy the MAC addresses, as it could trigger an activation for Windows XP and above, and prevent the creation of a new interface in Linux Guests.
