Using the GUI, I setup a folder on the host as a shared folder.
The manual tells me to find this folder in My Networking Places on the XP guest, but it does not exist.
Can someone show me the error of my ways?

Re: eComStaion host with XP guest, can't find shared folder
The manual states that shared folders are not supported on OS/2 guests. But...are they supported on OS/2 hosts? This is from section 13, "Known issues", on page 181. The OS/2 limitations are actually listed on page 182:Bucky wrote:Using the GUI, I setup a folder on the host as a shared folder.

Code: Select all
Guest Additions for OS/2. Shared folders are not yet supported with OS/2 guests yet. In addition, seamless windows and automatic guest resizing will probably never be implemented due to inherent limitations of the OS/2 graphics system.

I have the same problem with Windows 7beta running in VB/2. Which network option are you using ? I believe it may not work with NAT and I'm going to try the TAP$ alternative (once I have installed it).
This shared folders solution seems to be similar to what was in SVista/2 (now parrallels) rather than VPC/2.
