USB 3 and USB 2 option not available
I have installed virtualbox on Ubuntu 20.04 using "sudo apt install virtualbox", I then updated it using "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get upgrade". This did not fix the issue and I am unsure what is wrong

USB 2 & 3 are part of the Extension Pack, available at https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads.
Note that your Virtualbox is probably the fork provided by Ubuntu and not official Virtualbox from the link above.

Ok, thanks I was wondering about that. There is a virtualbox-qt and virtualbox package in apt but they are both different to the official version. This has cleared up a few things for me thx

Scottgus1 is right!
Your version must be a fork. Forks are actually not supported here, as far as I know.
So it could be that extension packs won´t work here.
