Hi - I have a *.tbi file that was created from a linux host. I'm having issues getting VirtualBox to recognize the image as bootable.
Any info, tips appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I don't recognize that extension. What kind of file is it supposed to be?

Re: TBI File use
He might mean ".tib", which is a proprietary format used by Acronis True Image disk imaging software.
It should go without saying that (proprietary) == (no way VirtualBox can read it).
Backup formats like that from Acronis or Macrium need to be "restored" into VMs using the appropriate proprietary restore software, usually after booting the VM with a recovery CD created by the imaging software.
