I am new to Virtualbox, and I tried to set up a VM for Mac OS. I followed an instruction found on YouTube and so far so good.
Until I went to USB setting, I found out that, the USB 2.0 and 3.0 options are missing!
There is only USB 1.1 option!
Have I done something wrong?
No USB 2.0 and 3.0 options?

Install the Extension Pack - the closed source host plugin that provides USB2 and USB3 support.
Described btw in chapter 1 of the user manual.

Betcha it's not.Leo.Aslan wrote:Same with me no usb 2.0 or 3.0 options available, proper extension is also installed
The Guest Additions are not at all the same thing as the (host) Extension Pack. It's the latter that adds USB2 / USB3 functionality to VirtualBox.
