VT-x/AMD-V not available on system Error

Post by DontTechEm »

Hello!

i do not know what this error means/how to fix it, so can someone help me?
I use vista still (yes, im poor or something idk) and it says that virtualbox can run on vista, so i am very confused. So it probably a disk drive problem or something, so any advice or ideas help.

Thank you. :D

VT-x & AMD/V are features of BIOS and CPUs to make virtual machines work better. Check your computer's BIOS for 'virtualization technology' or whatever your PC calls it. If you can start a guest and get a guest vbox.log, zip and post it using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
