Hello Forum
I heard that using VMDK as file-format makes a VM portable and platform independent (but now I remember, that long time
ago under VMware this was only possible with the help of VMware ACE ...)
Question:
However, what could be the problem, that VBox 5.2 cannot open a Windows XP VM (VMDK) produced long time ago with VMware Workstation 7.1 ?
Thank's a lot!
Joe

Lots of things could be wrong. Given the "OBJECT_NOT_FOUND" error I'm going to guess that the VMDK is incomplete is some way.
