I want to do an experiment by testing windows xp by using vga ega and cga graphics but i dont know how to change that how do i do it?

Virtualbox only provides VGA & better video cards. There are no references for EGA or CGA in the Virtualbox manual.
Your best bet is to web-search this. Add 'site:forums.virtualbox.org' to your search terms to see if anyone on the forum did it before. Also, search the web for how to fake XP to use a CGA or EGA video card. You might have to do this with XP installed natively, not in a virtual machine.
