VB Manager stuck in one VB settings' view (#19174)
VB Manager stuck in one VB settings' view (#19174)
ModEdit; related ticket: #19174: Guest List disappears abruptly if dragged too far left
Greetings:
I'm sure this will be a really foolish question, but I've not been able to find an answer (probably don't know what to search on).
My VirtualBox Manager window is displaying the 'Settings' view for only one of my VMs, see attached. How do I get back to the view that display all of my VMs?
Thanks for the assistance!

Re: VB Manager stuck in one VB settings' view
Your list of guests on the left has been collapsed to 0 width.
Open a command prompt and execute these commands:
Open a command prompt and execute these commands:
cd "C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox"
VBoxManage setextradata global GUI/SplitterSizes

Re: VB Manager stuck in one VB settings' view
There is a join between the guest list and the settings where the mouse cursor changes to indicate that the join can be dragged. Drag this to the left more than half the width of the guest list, and the whole guest list disappears.
I opened a ticket: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/19174
It all depends on if the developers want this to work this way or not. I think a small still-visible guest list, say 20 pixels or so, would be good to show there's still something draggable on the left side, not a complete disappearance pf the guest list.

Re: VB Manager stuck in one VB settings' view
Turns out it is also still possible to show the list by dragging right from the far left, where the "drag-left-right" icon shows for the mouse cursor.
List of my VMs in the main Virtualbox window missing
OK, so I've only used Virtualbox for about 20 years but for the life of me can't figure out how to get my list of VMs back in the main Virtualbox window. See attached. This is on a Mac OSX Mojave system.
Thanks,
Jim
