QEMU style nographic option

Hello all,

Is there anyway to start a guest without a graphical window?

I know that it is possible to use the VRDP option, but this requires binding VirtualBox to port which is something I'm trying to avoid.

Qemu can output to serial0 (/dev/ttyS0 on guest, but /dev/tty on host). This makes it possible to run guests via SSH, without graphical desktop at all, not on server and not on client. But guests must be modified to make them compatible with this feature. Windows guests won't run with this option.

VBox 1.4.0 has some limited serial capabilities, but I haven't checked them so far.
