Running VirtualBox 6.0.12 under Windows 10 and a Windows 7 VM. I have selected USB3 on the system setup.
I have a USB dongle modem I need to use within VB. Under Devices/USB the modem appears as a Agere Systems Agere USB2.0 V.92 Softmodem. However, programs do not pick up that the modem is available. Under Devices/USB I tried setting a filter by adding the device. No change, my program (Telemagic) does not show the modem.
I would appreciate help on how to correct the problem.
When responding, please keep in mind I am a novice using VirtualBox and installed VirtualBox to continue using various legacy programs.
