Hi, I'm using virtual box to write a kernel and learn from it.
I recently found that with the ICH9 chipset, VirtualBox will support PCI Express and providing MCFG table in XSDT.
However the valid memory address as tested are: 0x0~0x9FC00 and 0x100000~0x3FEF0000 while the base address from MCFG is 3F000000, both of them duplicate with each other.
Furthermore, there are all 0x00h within the MMIO PCI Express configuration space.
May I ask if I did something wrong or the virtual box planed to do so??

Re: Questions on PCI Express configuration space
Where did you "recently find" this information? Would that not be the logical place to ask your question?
