Play/Pause host keys do not work in the guest

I have just started using VirtualBox 6.0 linux host. While using media buttons of keyboard- mute, volume down and up are working since output is common in host and guest OS, but play and pause responding to host media palyer even I am working on guest OS. Is there any way to set it correct?

If a host OS treats a particular key (or key combo) as a hotkey to invoke a certain action there's usually no way for VirtualBox to get it - you'd have to change the host OS's hotkeys to no longer trigger the incorrect actions.

That said - try running the VM in fullscreen mode. Sometimes this also allows VirtualBox to get such key events, allowing them to be passed to the VM.
