How to disable creation of VBoxHardening.log ?

Post by Decurn01 »

Hello. I need to disable all logging of my VM for security reasons.

I've already added environment variables below with nofile parameter:
VBOX_RELEASE_LOG_DEST
VBOXSVC_RELEASE_LOG_DEST
VBOX_GUI_SELECTORWINDOW_RELEASE_LOG_DEST

BUT it hasnt disabled all logging completely.

When I run my WM VBoxHardening.log creates in 'VM's name\Logs' folder.

How to disable this one, could u help me please?

Security reasons? Don't you mean ... "hiding"?

Build VirtualBox from the source. By default there's no hardening in homemade builds, that's the only way I know of doing this...
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.
