"Storage -> Add Hard Disk" on the SATA connector of a newly-created VM crashes the Vbox GUI. W7x64 Host.
Will try on the IDE connector, but wanted to post this now in case the crash takes down this VM too.
Good: at least it didn't do that. But the GUI crashes there as well.

The "Create New Disk / Use Existing Disk / Cancel" dialog pops up, but then the whole UI dies. I've removed and reinstalled 6.0.6, no change.

This is also happening with 6.0.4 after downgrading to that, so: mods, can you split this out of the 606 thread into a new one please? Thanks.

yay, found a workaround! :)
If you delete the CONTROLLER and create a new one, you can then add drives to it without it crashing.

Note that this happened with a BRAND NEW VM, so if the problem is with the XML in the config file or somesuch then it should hopefully be easy to find, since it's the first-time generation that's causing it.
