[Solved] Virtual box networking guest in the LAN

So i Have a question that is dump I have a windows 7 pc and i want to install ubuntu on virtualbox but i would like to be able to use internet on vm and host and to be able to ssh and tftp my ubuntu vm from myhost and from a laptop that i will connect to my switch all this without affecting internet connection thank you

Please read the following: User Manual, ch. 6.2. Introduction to networking modes including the Overview of Networking Modes table, which shows quickly what kind of connection is required to achieve what you want. And remember, you can always have more than one network card in your guest to cover multiple scenarios.

I would go with a single Bridged adapter network card on your guest. That way the guest will look just like another computer on your LAN.
