What is your expereince with performance with VB and different types of Wins OS?

I'm running the latest VB and Window 10 home and it seems slow and glitchy.

Just wondering if the performance is better if running Window 7 or Windows 8.1 because I need to run Office 2013.

What's your experience? Would the performance be better running Win 7?
