Hi,
lets say i have ubuntu 18.04, debian stretch and windows 10 installed on the same machine, all running with the same version of virtualbox (its 5.2.10). can i share my virtual machines between the 3 system so that they are running them from the same folder?
when i start my windows 7-vm under ubuntu and install an extra program the edited vm can - after a reboot - be used in windows 10 when i start the win7-vm there.
is this possible?

Re: Share virtual machine between different OS
It should be. I recently dumped Windows 10 (as a host) and was able to add all of my VMs to my new Linux Mint host, with no adjustments whatsoever. Click 'Machine > Add', then navigate to the folder where the .vbox file is stored.
