Hi guys ... I'm a newbie when it comes to linux. I downloaded the mint .iso and is running on my virtual box, so far no issues with sound or video or any peripheral. My problems is that if I made
any changes like updates or download and install any software as soon I shut down my virtual machine all those changing disappear and when I start again my mint vm, I have to do all over again.
I look in youtube and all the tutorials are the same I did for the initial install, did not see how to setup my vm to be permanent.
Is that possible on virtualbox?
Thanks in advance.
Permanent install

Re: Permanent install
That all sounds like you use mint as live version. Then it's absolutely normal, all changes are gone after shutdown or reboot.
You have to install Mint in your vm by using the installer from mint. That has nothing to do with vbox.
