[WorksForMe] Arranging VM groups in the VirtualBox Manager

Post by peterhull90 »

In the past I am sure I arranged VM groups by dragging and dropping their icons in the left hand side of the VirtualBox GUI. But now I find this no longer works; I can't move them by dragging. Is this a known thing? (I couldn't find anything but not easy to search because it gets mixed up with Linux 'groups')

Using 5.2.6 on Windows 10

Thanks,
Peter

I can drag and rearrange both VM groups and individual VMs.
Host: OSX 10.11.6
VirtualBox: 5.2.7 r120886

OK. It works now. I definitely closed all VB windows and re-opened the manager before, and the problem persisted. I'll keep an eye open.

Thanks,
Pete

It may just needed an answer ;)
I'll mark it as [WorksForMe] now, mainly because I believe it was a temporary glitch, since you're the only one reporting a change in that area.
