Setting network attachement

Post by Dic747oR »

Hello,

so I just started using VBox over command line, I'm getting into use of basic commands, but can not figure, how to set attachement of network. Image I have a VPS called "MyVps" and I want to set it's "Attached to" parameter in network tab to "Bridged Adapter". How can I do this over a command? Also, how can I get and set MAC IP of that adapter? Thanks very much for all responds.

Regards,

There is a whole chapter that covers the command line interface control of most aspects of VirtualBox; Chapter 8. VBoxManage. It's too big to cover here, so the best approach would be to actually read the manual for the details. More specifically for the network, look at Ch. 8.8.2 Networking settings.
