Post by sixtusVM »

Hi there,
I want to use ST Microelectronics the USB periferal STLINK-V2; SWIM Developer/debugger, but when I try to connect this device a not true error is reported.
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall more and more times the related ST USB driver whitout to solve anythink.
Is there someone who has had the same problem and can help me?

VIrtualBox has a new release which might fix the issuue, but I I can't recall anything in the Changelog that would suggest that.

I've had success using VirtualHere -- a remote USB over IP client/server software. I run the VirtualHere Server on my OS X Host OS, and run VirtualHere Client on my Win7 Guest OS, and can use the ST-Link that way. It's not a VirtualBox solution per se, but it is an alternative solution that may work for you.

Hope that helps.
