I have 3 Virtual Machines and 3 Usb devices with same idVendor and idProduct ...
The USb Filyer "Serial Number" does not work
How can I use the "Port" filter?
No other solution?
VM > win XP 32b
Host > 7 64bit or Win xp 32b (same problem)

If you edit the filter settings you can see for yourself the available fields, obviously if these are not enough to distinguish your devices then nothing can be done.
I have no information on the "Port" field, but I'll note that of course this is not a device identifier, it's a location: this could only be useful if you can guarantee that the device you want to select is always plugged into the same USB port - and also that your host motherboard distinguishes the ports you want to use and e.g. doesn't connect them to the same internal splitter.

It may be useful to someone (else), but I'm not a USB expert, so I've already given you all the help I think I can. Almost. All I can add is that if I was you I would experiment: try using simple numbers 1-6 in the port number field, and if that isn't accepted then I would try "Port1" etc as in the device list. You'll have to come up with your own way of working out how the ports are numbered: perhaps watch what happens to the host device list as you add and remove devices.

Re: Usb with same idVendor and idProduct
Port: 0 for all devices
I have to use the last digit of the address? {XXX...XXX }\0007 ?

Bumping the topic is pointless if nobody can answer your query. As I said earlier, if the devices can't be distinguished then that's that.mpack wrote:I've already given you all the help I think I can
