I had a couple of machines set up, two of which were accessing /Volumes/WINXP as a shared folder (boot camp partition for win xp, I'm running OS X). I recently removed that partition, and doing so made the two machines inaccessible because vboc couldn't find the folders. Fine, I thought, I'll go into the machine's settings and remove that shared folder. No luck, the machine being inaccessible greys out the settings button.
I got around it by renaming a flash drive WINXP so i could go in and remove the shared folder; but seems like there should be a more direct solution to address this?
