Hi, VB refuses to delete a snapshot I don't need any longer.
Can someone tells me how to get rid of it?
Thanks!

Well, the error states it all. You have a snapshot that's based on the VDI you're trying to remove. Remove those snapshots first, then you can remove the VDI.

How can I do this without leaving deadlinks in "Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit.vbox-prev" XML??

The -prev file is a backup of the main xml file. This is not used by VB directly, it's there in case the main file gets corrupt. Once you start the VM, this file is overwritten by the original file first. Any dead links do nothing unless you restore this file.
