Windows XP von USB installieren

Postby tweety3 » 7. Jul 2010, 12:14

Hallo zusammen,

You can't. You could convert the install CD to an ISO and then install it that way, but you would need to get a friend that could do that for you.

If the USB drive contains all of the files copied off the install CD then it may be possible to make an ISO image of the folder tree using ImgBurn.

If the USB stick is bootable, you may be able to extract the boot data from it and make an image with burning software that is capable of making images. You could also try to make an ISO from the entire stick using the 'dd' command if the stick is bootable.
