Currently, have Windows Virtualbox running on windows (xp in both cases). In the Virtual machine, I tether my cellphone, and use it to browse to sites that are blocked at work.
What I want to do is to use this as a proxy server for my local machine (which, to reiterate, is the macine I am runnining Virtualbox on).
What I would like to do, in a perfect world, is to run VirtualBox with my cellphone tethered to it (so now I can effectively run an "open network" on the virtual machien). Then, I would like to run an application on my real machine and point it's proxy settings to the Virtualbox machine to use the virtualbox "open" network (somehow). I just need to know how to do that "somehow".
Does anyone know if/how this is possible?
Thanks!
Using VirtualBox as a PROXY SERVER (please help)

I believe that it's somehow possible.
