How To Switch TTY on Linux Virtual Machine?

I have a Linux virtual box and when I am connected to the virtual box, I would like to switch to TTY2 from TTY1 and normally on a Linux machine I would do ctl + alt + F2 however this only registers on my host Linux PC and not my virtual one.
