hi all:
I just updated my vbox from 2.2 to 3.06 and now I have a problem starting the vm's.
I get an error message about the "VBoxGuestAdditions.iso is not available".
Do I need to recreate the vm's or is there a less painful way to get up and running again?
thanx in advance...

Re: how to relink guest additions iso to vm
Look in the VBox GUI and click file then Virtual Media manager and under CD/DVD section you should see a warning Dialog for the VBoxguestAdditions.iso. Remove it and then add it back from the new location. It should be in the directioy .virtualBox

@PerryG:
thanx...that worked perfectly!
I can't get over how slick vbox is - it has sure saved me a lot of grief compared to the dual/multi-booting process I have been using.
I kinda wish I had stumbled on the whole virtualization thing before I set up my new desktop. I probably would have gone with a linux host/vista guest setup instead of vice versa.
Oh, well - winter is coming soon. Perhaps I will scrap everything and start over.
thanx again
