D3D is not one thing, there have been many versions over the years. If you don't say what D3D version you're testing or your application requires then this isn't really adding anything to the body of knowledge. Likewise if you don't report error messages precisely.

It would be nice if VB could use the host system's graphics chip (whether discrete or integrated) without GPU passthrough.
