Using Bugtracker

Post by smithpdo »

How do I use Bugtracker?
I first tried using my forum username and password. but got the message: no ticket create privileges.

Fair enough, maybe two different systems have two different authentication systems.

So I registered/logged in using another username and password but got the same no ticket create privileges message.

Then I registered/logged in again using yet another new name with the same results.

What am I doing wrong? Does the system work?
I have sent an email to Innotek but got no response.

You indeed need to reregister. Tried logging out and in again with the registered username?

Yes, I logged out, re-registered and tried to log in again.
I did this three times and now have three additional usernames :)
It gives no message to indicate either success or failure.
But I cannot get access to Bugtracker.

I know the user names have been registered because if I try to re-register the same name it informs me that the name is already registered. This is the only response message of any kind that the system gives.

Now I am reminded of the other problem.
More times than not when trying to submit a forum message I get the reply
Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form.

I resubmit a few times and then my posting is accepted.

I just tried myself and it works as expected. Perhaps your browser or connection messed it up...
