Ctrl-alt-F1 on linux guest with linux host

Postby radiodee1 » 19. Jan 2009, 22:22

On a linux host with a linux guest, I want to switch from the x11 screen of the guest to the tty1 screen of the guest, but when I type 'ctrl-alt-F1' (even when the vbox window has focus) I get the tty1 screen of the host. How does one switch between the various tty's of the guest OS?

-Thanks

Try hostkey-F1 where hostkey usually is right-ctrl
Or possibly use the command:
sudo chvt 1
Some say: "You learn as long as you live".
My way: "You live as long as you learn".
