Hi,
I heard interesting things about VirtualBox and I am wondering if there is already a Linux LiveCD with VirtualBox
installed (in order to be able to make some first tests ?
Thank's a lot for any feedback!
John
LinuxLive CD with VirtualBox available?
Re: LinuxLive CD with VirtualBox available?
The only live CD I'm aware of that comes with VirtualBox is Knoppix 5.2 c't special edition, which was distributed at CeBIT about two months ago. Which is not available at the Knoppix download site, so it might be hard to get hold of a copy. That CD contains a relatively old SVN snapshot of VirtualBox OSE.

I know of this one. Besides VB you'll find (k)qemu, xen, uml and some more:john99 wrote:I am wondering if there is already a Linux LiveCD with VirtualBox

VB OSE.

You can find another good live-cd with virtualbox X86 installed here :

It's a very good distro based on gentoo.
Don't be afraid by the "development release", it works very well !

There is also MCN Virtual city
MCN is otherwise a nice live distro, based on Mandriva 2007 :
ftp://ftp.belnet.be/pub/mirror/urpmidev ... alCity.iso
I have found that the limiting factor is RAM. Run a light Live Linux, install Virtualbox "any distro" , install, viola
