Formating a Virtual Drive

Post by Orbital »

OK.... Something happen to Virtual Box and my
Linux Guest Image is causing all kinds of lockup issues
on my Windows host after I shut the Guest Image down.

So how do I go about doing this.
I am assuming

1st: I would delete the Guest Image.
2nd: Remove the Virtual HardDisk.vdi

Do I format anything or just delete and
make a new one?

Thanks

Well, Orbital.

1. You must make sure your Virtual Machine is powered down
2. Delete the OS by high lighting it and choosing the delete button.
It will state that these changes can not be reverted back to
and will delete the Virtual Hard Drive from your real Disc
3. Choose Yes.

It's that easy....
