Issue getting Mac OS mavericks running on virtualbox

Post by IzyCodes »

While trying to start a virtual macOS system I keep running into a critical error which kills the execution of the vm. Here are the log files, can anyone help? I am getting an error saying that it is not a intel platform, restart fix not applied. I am running an AMD machine right now

Sorry - there are no logfiles attached - just a portrait of a black cat in a coal cellar with the lights off.

In the Finder right click on the log file. Choose "Compress" to make a zip file. You should be able to attach that to a post.

IzyCodes, after you get the log zipped as Granada29 suggests, post the zip using the forum's Upload Attachment tab:

Actually, no logs needed, this is the killer:

Apple never used AMD for an Apple computer. A Mac guest is only allowed if the physical computer is real Apple hardware.
OSX guests on non-Apple hardware

Your PC is not an Apple computer, so regrettably, we cannot help.
