External Audio Hardware Driver Crashes Win10 VirtualBox - driver .inf file attached-

Postby bknopf74 » 31. Oct 2022, 22:18
trying to install my Soniccore XITE1 audio interface to win 10 virtualbox and when manually installing driver it instantly hangs/crashes the windows to where i have to reset.
ive disable driver integrity checks and the driver works fine on full win 10 partition. please take a look at how i may be able to get the driver functioning on win10 virtualbox if its possible at all.
any help is greatly appreciated. if it is possible to modify/customize the inf file so that will install drivers correctly on the win10 virtualbox please let me know what should be done.
thanks

Virtual machines don't care about - and cannot directly use - the host's hardware. Your VM most likely has AC'97 or Intel HD audio, neither of which require you to install drivers.
