I'm using virtualbox 1.3.8 on a windows 2000 host with a windowsxp guest. I have a USB webcam which is recognized in windows 2000 and then recognized in the virtualbox usb devices list (after replugging the device as stated in the manual), however when I start the virtual machine and try to attach the device (through the menu) I get the following error code
Failed to create a proxy device for the USB device. (Error: VERR_READ_ERROR).

I've tried this with 2 different usb webcams and two different machines and I still get the same error. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
