Re: Why did I get this error?
After Virtualbox reads the main configuration file and all the VMs' .vbox files from the host disk, it stores all that information in the host memory and may write out that info back to the files at various times.
This error is because the write-out failed for some reason. The previous file 'Virtualbox.xml-prev' should be there. Copy it, then rename the copy to 'Virtualbox.xml'. Virtualbox should start fine.

Please post pictures here, or explain what your results were.
Re: Why did I get this error?
I tried attaching a photo, but the size is too big. Posting with the image tag won't work. The picture shows that in C:\Users\LPIII\.VirtualBox I couldn't change the name of the copied file because I already had Virtualbox.xml.

Pictures can be cropped to fit all the pertinent parts in a small enough space.
If you're going to rename a file to the name of another existing file, then it is expected that you would have to rename, move, or delete the existing file first, right?
