Set the VM data and time

Post by morpheus_bn »

Hello,
I would like to change the system date and time for my Windows 7 virtual machine but every time I set a date, it is overwritten by the Guest machine. How can I prevent it? Thank you

FTFY. The VM or virtual machine is the guest, the physical PC is the host.

Guest Additions facilitates the date/time synch. Uninstall GAs and you should be able to set date & time as needed. Note that you'll have to disable internet-based time synch inside the VM's OS if you leave the VM attached to the internet. How to do that is not a Virtualbox solution.

It works! Is there any other solution that keeps guest additions?
