[Feature request] Marking about the changed snapshot in group view
Hi All.
If I select a group, then see information only about the snapshot of the first virtual machine in the group:
https://i.postimg.cc/Jz37r1zJ/group.png
https://i.postimg.cc/k42BXkZm/first.png
But the snapshot of the second virtual machine is changed, and in the group viewing it is not visible:

Can you do anything like this?

Images should be cropped and resized to get under the forum's 128kB size limit yet remain readable, then posted using the forum's Upload Attachment tab. This is possible from first day first post.
Please re-tell your problem without relying on offsite images.

Re: [Feature request] Marking about the changed snapshot in group view
For the first time I see a forum that does not support adding images in the form of previews and links. I had to just specify links. I have no "Upload Attachment tab", no way, anywhere.

The Upload Attachment tab is below the big box where you type posts. Ctrl-F Find in the web-page will find the tab.
There always is one:

We argue about some kind of crap. There is a screenshot that I see, THERE IS NO TAB.scottgus1 wrote:The Upload Attachment tab is below the big box where you type posts. Ctrl-F Find in the web-page will find the tab.

In any case, the pictures in the first post open, the problem is described.

That is because you are posting in the "Suggestions" forum. Attachments have never been allowed in this forum, unless you're a moderator.
Grouping of VMs is a relatively new feature. The right hand panel hasn't got the news yet that not everything in the left panel is a VM.
Your point would have been much clearer if your picture didn't hide the names and icons of VMs/groups, showing that you had selected a group. It took me a moment to decipher what the pictures represented.

Ah, yes, of course! How stupid of me!
Moving to Using Virtualbox.
Now you can post screenshots with Upload Attachment.
I forgot: no Upload Attachment tab in Suggestions.mpack wrote:you are posting in the "Suggestions" forum. Attachments have never been allowed in this forum, unless you're a moderator.

Re: [Feature request] Marking about the changed snapshot in group view
In a nutshell: I would like that when I selected a group, information about all snapshots of virtual machines would be displayed on the right, and not just about the first one.Milo.name wrote:Hi All.

But the snapshot of the second virtual machine is changed, and in the group viewing it is not visible:
Can you do anything like this?
Code: Select all
Cannot add another attachment, 3 is the maximum.

Can't show what you are asking. Sorry.mpack wrote:That is because you are posting in the "Suggestions" forum. Attachments have never been allowed in this forum, unless you're a moderator.

I removed the expletive in your post, Milo. No need to use that kind of language here. Bans will follow if it is repeated.
The idea of showing snapshot status for all VMs in a group when the group bar is selected sounds good. A VM Name line above each VM's snapshot chain would also be helpful. See the Bugtracker to place an enhancement request.

Yes, they did it in the seventh version. Exactly what was needed. Great!
