Hello,
I have installed a Redhat 8 VM using virtualbox on my Windows 10 work laptop. I don't have administrator privileges on my laptop and hence I cannot download and place the virtualboxguestadditions.iso image under C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox/ which is the path shown in the error message I get when I try to install virtualboxguestadditions from the option 'Devices->Insert Guest Additions CD Image' from within the VM:
Could not mount the media/drive 'C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' (VERR_PDM_MEDIA_LOCKED).
Is there an alternative by means of which I can transfer files between my VM and the host as part of my work? Please share your thoughts.
TIA
Vinod

Web-search "VERR_PDM_MEDIA_LOCKED site:forums.virtualbox.org" This one's been covered a lot.
