I've come across this unusual error that I can't seem to get around. I'm using the latest version (6.1.18), not using the extension pack. I've reinstalled a couple of times, and restarted my computer twice.
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine win10.

I don't know how to fix this.

Re: Failed to open session
Virtualbox 6.1.x is no longer supported on Windows 7 host PCs. This error is common for Windows 7 users trying to run 6.1.anything. (7 is sill OK inside the VM, just not on the host.)clayer wrote:I'm using the latest version (6.1.18) ... I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium.
Drop back to 5.2.44 https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_5_2
