Take a look at your activity monitor and see if there is any VirtualBox related process and kill them before you run the uninstaller....

ok, sorry for the post, the answer was in front of me... the uninstaller was asking to reboot my mac, I reboot it and run the uninstaller again, now without errors, and I was able to install the latest version

I'm trying to use the newer version of VirtualBox, but only 4.1 is working on my MAC, I have OSX 10.9.4 with the latest updates. When I try to install 4.2 or 4.3 I receive an error message saying that the installation went wrong and stop the installation. I try removing the previous version manually...
