Ok save this file on your drive and change it back to laptopwindows.vbox and (AFTER you backup the original laptopwindows.vbox) replace it with this one and see if it works. yes thats how Ive been trying. I can get the file i there but when I go add file it said ext not allowed. and if i try to delete the .vbox to put .txt in it doesnt type over?

this is what I got if i x2 click on laptopwindow.vbox. I copied the info and paste that. does this help? yes there is but I cant work out how to change the suffex to .txt
Im using the upload attachment but it doesn't let me change to TxT before upload

I don't know the exact location myself since I don't have a Mac.

The *.vbox file should be here
$HOME/VirtualBox VMs/{machinename}

the only other thing there is a vdi and its 31Gb so you dont want that!
